Leadership Under Pressure

A practical, full-day workshop for leaders and teams responsible for people, operations, and decisions that cannot wait for perfect information.

Practice difficult decisions before a real disruption exposes unclear roles, missed information, or conflicting priorities.

Explore the workshop agenda

From pressure to practical action

Participants work through realistic scenarios using four anchors: Clarity, Control, Communication, and Continuity. The exercise makes the team’s assumptions, communication, and decision process visible so they can examine what works and what needs to change.

What the engagement includes

  • Preparation: a planning call and short questionnaire to identify your priorities.
  • A tailored workshop: a full day of instruction, discussion, and scenarios adapted to your operating environment.
  • Practical materials: participant worksheets and the four-anchor decision framework.
  • A facilitated debrief: examine decisions, communication gaps, and lessons from the exercise.
  • Written findings: a concise account of observed strengths, priority gaps, and recommended next steps.
  • Follow-through: one 30-minute call with the organizational lead to discuss the findings and priorities.

What your team takes away

A shared framework they have practiced together, a clearer understanding of how they respond under pressure, and specific actions leadership can use to strengthen readiness. The written findings turn the day’s observations into priorities for follow-through.

Scope and delivery

The small-group format is designed for up to 20 participants. Larger groups and other formats are scoped separately. Your proposal sets out the preparation, schedule, participant arrangements, travel, deliverables, and fee before you commit.

Written findings are typically delivered within 10 business days of the workshop. More complex engagements may require additional time; any adjusted delivery date will be discussed and agreed with the client. The follow-up call is arranged within 30 days after delivery of the findings.

A shared reference point

Four anchors for decisions under pressure.

Not slogans for the wall. A repeatable way to slow the failure cycle without slowing the work.

01

Clarity

See the situation as it is. Separate facts, assumptions, and noise.

02

Control

Stabilize the response. Define what can be influenced and what cannot.

03

Communication

Share what is known clearly and early. Listen to understand, not simply to answer.

04

Continuity

Sustain focus, execute the plan, and adapt as conditions change.

Inside the workshop

A day built around decisions.

Illustrative agenda. This shows the proposed workshop flow; timing and exercises are tailored in the agreed scope.

01

Map the pressure

Identify decisions where incomplete information, competing priorities, and unclear authority create difficulty for the team.

02

Apply the four anchors

Use Clarity, Control, Communication, and Continuity to examine the situation and choose a course of action.

03

Work through a scenario

Make decisions as new information arrives. Examine how responsibilities, communication, and assumptions affect the response.

04

Debrief and set next steps

Discuss what held up, what needs adjustment, and which actions the organization should take forward.
